HPC - High Performance Cutting

High Performance Cutting enables very high metal removal rates for rough milling, achieved by taking full advantage of the long edge and full immersion of the cutter. The overall depth can be up to two times the diameter and the width of cut can even be up to full diameter.
This type of milling operation is a high power consumption operation and the machine power should be taken into consideration prior to the cutting stage.
ISCAR has developed extended flute cutter families with a unique helical cutting edge and geometry, which enables reduced cutting forces during heavy milling operations.
